Principal’s Message
Greetings, HHS Family! Welcome to the 2026-27 school year and welcome HOME!
We are fortunate that our student body is beautifully diverse, and we take pride in learning from each other. The common goal is to prepare students beyond high school, as WE aim to accomplish this using the Henrico Learner Profile and through our HHS Core Values: ACCOUNTABILITY, INCLUSIVITY, RESPECT, and RESILIENCE. Our theme for this school year is Perseverance415. This means we must maximize all 415 instructional minutes each and every day.
WE have an incredibly DEDICATED staff at HHS who work tirelessly to assist students with positively navigating the unforgettable high school experience. Visit the #1 school library program in Virginia and help us meet our goal to check out 10k books this year. Join one of our 60 clubs and make the most of your educational experience! The outstanding faculty and staff at HHS will ensure that students are LIFE READY and prepared for the world after graduation.
In order to accomplish this task, I encourage all parents to take an active role in their child’s high school experience by being an energetic participant, communicating with teachers, monitoring PowerSchool for grades weekly, and attending school events. Please remember to join the HHS PTSO and volunteer! WE must work together to ensure the success of OUR students and OUR COMMUNITY!
Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. WE will discuss these topics and more during our weekly Community Forum Meetings. I look forward to learning and working with you for years to come. Stay safe and Roll Pride!
